Do You Love to Read?
It is "I Love to Read" month and we want to know what are your favourite things to read? What do you love to read?My whole family loves to read but we don't all like reading the same things. Alyssa and I love to read fiction although we are known to read a biography now and then or some other piece of nonfiction that interests us. Alan loves his nonfiction; books that make him think. Riley will read just about anything but he likes other people to suggest books for him. Breana loves to read books that she has already seen the movie.
Whether you like nonfiction, biographies, devotionals or fiction. There are many books for you in the church library. Here are a few suggestions:
When The Game is Over it All Goes Back In the Box
by John Ortberg
Beginning with the right object-being rich toward God-best selling author John Ortberg shows what it takes to really win at the game of life. Live with an eternal perspective.
The Insanity of God: A True Story of Faith Resurrected
by Nik Ripken
The gripping, narrative account of a personal pilgrimage into some of the toughest places on earth, combined with sobering and insightful stories of the remarkable people of faith Nik and Ruth encountered on their journeys, will serve as a powerful course of revelation, growth, and challenge for anyone who wants to know whether God truly is enough.
An Absence So Great
by Jane Kirkpatrick
Jesse exiles herself to Milwaukee after an unfortunate romantic longing to operate photographic studios for those owners who have fallen ill with mercury poisoning.
So come to the library during I Love to Read month, there may be a few treats as well.
