Carnival Month

Carnival Month At Bethel Library

March 29-April 26

It is always exciting when Carnival Month comes.  The excitement of games, treats, prizes and new books is something many of you look forward to.  With the amount of people that came to the library today, you could certainly see the excitement.

New Books

Jesus is King by Timothy Keller

Did you read A Reason For God by this same author, why not try another one. In Kellerès new book he unlocks new insights into the life of Jesus Christ as he explores how Jesus came as a king, but a king who had to bear the greatest burden anyone ever has.  What a great read for the month of Easter.

Revelations of the Cross by J.I. Packer

In this collection of writings from one of the most well-known theologians of the modern era, Packer strongly defends Trinitarian theology and the uniqueness of Jesus Christ against contemporary challenges. In so doing, he deals with theological issues such as atonement, justification and universalism.

What Follows After by Dan Walsh

In this emotional story, bestselling author Dan Walsh takes you on a journey to rediscover the things that matter most in life--love, truth, and family. With profound insight into the heart of a hurting child, he reminds us that a time will come to look back on hard times and smile, because we'll know that what follows after . . . is not what we expected at all.

Hey, if you mention one of these books from the blog next Sunday, you get two extra tickets!
