If you just did the small groups on the Truth Project, you might want to take this out of the library to review and go into more depth what you learned in those past weeks. It will give you time to meditate and grapple with some of the key concepts.
The Harry Lehotsky Story
by Paul H. Bogue
Harry starts out by meeting the needs of one person at a time that turns into an all out battle of ideals in downtown Winnipeg. Harry seeks to help addicts, homeless, and the abused to see that everyone can change and new life is possible. This is a part of our history that everyone should read.
Blood Brothers
by Elias Chacour with David Hazard
Elias Chacour lived in a small Palestinian village in Galilee. He became an exile in his native land. He found his answer to his struggle to love the Jewish people and the world's misunderstanding of his own people from Jesus: "Blessed are the peacemakers." This is his story with historical research of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
by Melody Carlson
Amber Conrad has problem. Her youth group friends won't get off her case about the drinking parties she has been going to. Up to her senior year, Amber has been the model of perfection until she attends more and more parties and her little white lies becoming a raging wildfire. Will she be honest with herself before things get out of control?
I am still looking for someone to help take out books on those days when I am unavailable. This would be a small time committment of being in the library between Sunday School and Church as well as fifteen minutes after church. It is basically helping people print their name and stamp the due date. I would appreciate your help as well as all those people (mostly children) that visit the library every week!
